Journey with a mentor/mentoree
for a year
Meet with another 1-3 persons 8 times in the year to help them come to believe in Christ and/or grow in Christ. If you are a relatively young believer, ask someone to meet with and help you.
Being a believer of Jesus is to be his disciple. As a disciple of Christ, we are called to also help others come to Christ and grow in him - this is disciple making. Every disciple-making work starts with a person - someone you can connect with and help to learn about and know Jesus.
Meet these 1-3 persons at least 8 times in the year. It can be once a week or once a month, or anything in between. Each meeting can be 1 to2 hours, perhaps over a coffee or a meal.
Meet to read the Bible together, pray and share about each other’s lives, so as to encourage mutual spiritual growth.
If you are new to this and would like to get more help and tips, we encourage you to attend a training course: Making Disciples.
Alternatively, you may also use Appendix D as a simple resource to help you.
Please also contact any staff member for additional resources.
