EMBRACE:
Finding Our Sacred Pathways
By Asst Ps Patrick Chan Yin
God created us all with a certain personalities and spiritual temperaments, which make us gravitate towards certain types of practices and prayers. Gary Thomas called them “sacred pathways,” which describe the various ways we can relate to God or how we can draw near to Him. In this workshop, we will identify our preferred or predominant sacred pathway and use practices which would come naturally to that pathway as an easier way of connecting to God.

What does the Bible have to say about our Final Third of life? As we go through scripture verses on this phase of life, we'll find the Bible to be very realistic as to its challenges. But there's more. The overall picture is totally not one that is bleak and depressing. Rather, in passage after passage and character after character, the Bible reveals the possibilities open to us and shows us what flourishing for seniors might look like. Join us as we gain inspiration from the scriptures as to how we can thrive with purposefulness and intentionality.
