Personal Reflections Jesus teaches His disciples to pray. It is not meant to be a mindless repetition of a prayer chant but rather a model by which we express our prayers to God. By hallowing God’s name we are saying, “May your name be held in high esteem or in reverence.” It reminds us that while we can address a personal God, He is also to be held in honour.
How can you address God when you pray to Him that would hold Him in high regard and honour? What is your attitude towards God? Is he a friend only or is he also the Almighty God and Creator? Take time to praise God in your prayers today.
